Terms & Conditions

1) All our work is fully guaranteed by us. If you are not satisfied with the standard of work for whatever reason, we will always endeavour to remedy the situation and

rectify any shortcomings as part of our commitment to provide a high standard of service and workmanship.

2) Assistance can be provided with the repositioning and/or removal of bulky furniture items and white goods.The removal of small items, such as small tables, lamps

and curtains are the responsibility of the client. We reserve the right to decline to move white goods if the condition or position of the plumbing may incur a higher than

normal risk of damage to the equipment or the property. We reserve the right to decline to move particularly heavy or bulky items if they present a higher than accepted

health and safety risk.

3) Payment is to be made on completion of project by cash or cheque payable to Brian Ramsay Decorators unless other arrangements have been discussed and agreed

in advance. In the case of large projects payment instalments may be required as project progresses.

4) All necessary materials can and will be provided by us and will always be of high quality and used in an appropriate manner as per the manufacturer's guidelines.

Where it is necessary to match existing decor, our work will be carried out with this in mind, using appropriate materials that provide an exact match where possible. If

an exact match will not be achievable, the client will be consulted.

5) At the time of project acceptance you will be given an approximate date verbally, however you must be aware that due to circumstances outside our control such as

weather and personal injury and sickness you may experience a delay, if and when this happens I will inform you as soon as is physically possible and will then try and

work with you to book a new date that is suitable.

6) Any extra work carried out will be charged as extra work, which will be discussed with client beforehand. The definition of extra work is any work carried out that is

NOT stated on the quote.

7) It is the clients responsibility to :

      a:  To remove pictures and other wall hangings.

      b:  To remove valuable or fragile items from area to  be decorated.

8) Any quote or estimate is subject to revision if there are any changes to the nature or extent of the requested work. This may apply to both labour and materials.

9) Brian Ramsay Decorators are fully insured for the sum of £1million.

10) Any bulk furniture can be left if needed and will be protected with dust sheets, but Brian Ramsay Decorators cannot guarantee no damage to said furniture

11) Quote is valid for 90 days, thereafter quote can be subject to renegotiation.

12) Upon Accepting a quote Brian Ramsay reserves the right to request a signature in some instances verifying customer has accepted terms & conditions.

13) Upon accepting the quote you are agreeing with the above terms and conditions in full.
